Treat stress at home.

For patients referred to this program, experienced stress-management counselors help tackle stressful situations and prevent stress leave head on with their patients. That’s why our Clinical Pathway to Treat Stress (CPTS) is not like traditional counselling. Combined with effective clinical care, people can also tackle the physical symptoms of stress (like chest tightness, fatigue and skin rashes) during critical moments in their life.

Experienced counselors follow a proven set of techniques, and are trained in the application of powerful psychological interventions (like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to manage high stress situations more effectively with less down time. Our counsellors also treat anxiety, stress, grief or depression at home to enhance comfort, reduce the burden of visits, and help patients step back into life when they are ready.

If you are experiencing mental health crisis and worried about next steps, please call (780) 482-4357 [Edmonton’s 24-hour Distress Line] or go to your nearest Emergency Room.
