Adam aims to help patients experience meaningful improvements in psychological well-being within the first three sessions.
Our style of therapy is like having a co-pilot: someone to identify patterns, pivot towards what is working well, and make small adjustments to achieve greater stability and alignment with important goals.
What to Expect
At your first visit, Adam will complete a comprehensive assessment to understand key factors affecting your well-being. This allows us to create an action plan that feels realistic and supportive.
Our therapy process is structured for more predictable outcomes:
Visit 1 โโ Assessment: Explore how your body, mind, and social environment interact.
Visit 2 โโ Action plan: Identify meaningful goals and begin โthe workโ of therapy.
Visits 3 to 5 โโ Evidence-based therapy: Use proven approaches (like ACT, CBT, and behavioural activation) to build resilience and adaptation.
This assess โ plan โ treat approach is designed to conclude within 3โ5 sessions, helping reduce the overall cost of therapy.
If You’re Unsure About Individual Therapy
You might benefit from our group programs. Depending on the group, participants may review various relaxation, mindfulness, cognitive, and behavioural skills. Our therapist-led groups also help participants apply these skills in social settings.
Group sessions may help:
- Reconnect in a supportive setting (scaffolding);
- Model adaptive coping (co-regulation); and,
- Practice key skills (mirroring).
We also specialize in healing grief and issues of belonging through group processes that promote acceptance and psychological flexibility.
Feel free to call us at (780) 851-9717 to learn more about various options for therapy before booking a visit!
Individual & Couples Therapy
* A reduced session fee of $ 90 is available for seniors (age 65+), full-time students, and people who are currently experiencing an interruption in employment.
Group Therapy
Adaptive Coping is Our Secret Recipe!
Effective therapists often help people redefine their relationship with the past, helping them regain a sense of control. Research shows this builds psychological flexibility, a key pre-requisite for resilience and adaptation.
As a result, all of our therapy programs promote adaptive coping by focusing on the present moment, building a broader picture of well-being,ย including:
- Sleep
- Nutrition
- Exercise
- Lifestyle factors
- Social supports
Thisย biopsychosocial approach embraces a more practical method for optimizing routines and performance, focused on rebuilding resilience and confidence.

Welcome! I’m Adam ๐
I am a Registered Nurse (RN) Therapist who facilitates online therapy programs with Consortia Care. As an RN, my sessions are covered by most Health Care Spending Accounts (HCSA’s) and select health insurance plans.
My approach is also multi-faceted, rooted in the biopsychosocial model. Most sessions integrate mental health, physical/metabolic health, and environmental modifications to help people build resilience and shift from surviving to thriving.
A core passion of mine is helping underdogs achieve meaningful success. Many professional athletes, for example, have learned to harness the pain of adverse experiences as fuel for growth. The key is learning how to adapt to stress. I bring the science of adaptation into every session, using evidence-based biopsychosocial frameworks as a routine part of my care.
Environment matters.
My own experience adapting to challenging environments have shaped my belief that we can only thrive once we understand how our environment interacts with our mental and physical well-being. In therapy, I routinely assess environmental risks, protective factors, and opportunities for change.
No one does it alone.
Even the most resilient people benefit from support. Therapy offers a safe and supportive space to examine patterns shaped by past experiences. You can decide what to keep and what no longer serves you. Together, we can create a more meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling life!

Specialized Option: Immersive Online Therapy
Immersive therapy may not be the right fit for everyone. We ensure technologies are integrated thoughtfully into care, aligned with a person’s overarching goals for therapy.
However, for some people, immersive therapies create powerful moments for healing. A guided visual exercise might evoke feelings of safety and calm, helping people to picture what itโs like to live in an environment where one feels secure and supported. These visualizations may also create space for new sensations and perceptions, allowing people to re-imagine and construct new ways of being. When used intentionally, immersive experiences deepen the impact of talk therapy. They set the stage for more meaningful conversations, grounding people in the present while also inviting them to experience different ways of knowing.
Feel free to ask if immersive therapy is right for you!
