Adam Henley

Adam Henley is the founder and managing director of Consortia Health Care Inc. who also holds the position of Clinical Lead for Neurological Rehabilitation within the organization.

Adam is a Registered Nurse with experience in primary care, behavioural health and oncology settings. He has held a variety of nursing roles, with varied experience as a Staff Nurse, Clinical Consultant and Nurse Educator. Adam has also been involved in several quality and practice improvement initiatives within Edmonton.

Adam graduated from the University of Derby with a Master of Science in Psychology, awarded with Distinction. His thesis explored the experience of fatigue among Canadians with reduced social participation. Adam has also completed several practice-oriented courses, obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trent University in 2009. Upon graduation from nursing school, Adam maintained a 3.9 cumulative GPA and was awarded the final-year award for clinical excellence.

As the managing director of Consortia Health Care Inc., Adam is building a new vision for home care within Edmonton. This includes launching innovative options for virtual care, new psychotherapeutic supports for trauma-informed care, and Edmonton’s first comprehensive home care option for after-hours brain injury and post-stroke care. He is also passionate about growing the basic science of nursing care and remains involved in several community nursing projects and initiatives.
