Hi! I’m Adam 👋

I care to build innovative community programs that dramatically improve health outcomes for Albertans.

As the founder of ConsortiaCare.ca, I am a Registered Nurse with diverse experience across primary care, behavioural health, and oncology nursing. I have also held a variety of nursing roles with experience as a staff nurse, clinical consultant, and nursing educator. Finally, I have advanced several quality and practice improvement initiatives within the Alberta region. I believe in building humanistic and responsive systems of care.

In 2021, I graduated from the University of Derby with a Master of Science in Psychology, awarded with distinction. My thesis explored the experience of fatigue among Canadians simultaneously experiencing reduced social participation. I have also completed several practice-oriented courses, obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trent University in 2009. Upon graduation from my undergraduate nursing program, I maintained a 3.9 cumulative GPA and was awarded the final-year award for clinical excellence.

As the managing director for ConsortiaCare.ca, I am passionate about building environments that enhance human flourishing. This includes launching innovative options for virtual care, evidence-based clinical pathways, and comprehensive care for home stroke rehabilitation. I am also passionate about growing the basic science of nursing and remain involved in various community nursing initiatives.
